Susanna Hoffs, born Jan 17, 1959 in Los Angeles, is an American rock/pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. Best known as lead voice of The Bangles, she co-wrote hits like “Manic Monday,” “Walk Like an Egyptian,” and “Eternal Flame.” Since the 2020s she’s released cover albums including Bright Lights (2021), The Deep End (2023), and The Lost Record (2024), plus a new solo “Eternal Flame” single in April 2025. She’s collaborated with Matthew Sweet, Elvis Costello, Aimee Mann, and won awards like Best Female Rock Vocalist (Pro L.A.) and acclaim for her songwriting and distinctive ‘80s-nostalgic style.
